Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise, an American writer and actress, best known for portraying Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island in 1960s. Bettle's Two's Company musical was the first stage production in which she appeared for her first stage appearance. After that, she acted on Broadway in various shows until the year 1957, when Li'l Abner made it huge at the National Theater. The album was released by her Too Late for Tina the same year. Louise was first seen on the screen in Hollywood with God's Little Acre a drama released in 1958. She performed the role of Griselda who was a character from the movie. She was enrolled at Actors Studio, New York at the time, and later became Lee Strasberg's teacher. The next memorable role she played was in 1964. She signed with CBS for the role of Ginger Grant. Louise was a success in Hollywood and Broadway as a somber character to counter her image of the glamour girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1 and Sanctuary, although she established herself as an accomplished television director on numerous series, including Supernatural as well as The 100. Born in Essex, Ontario on 28th August 1965, her family relocated to Toronto when she was three. Her childhood was spent there as well as her adolescence. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 to play the role and she has settled down in Toronto ever since.
